The federal government is spearheading efforts to dramatically shorten the duration for international medical graduates to integrate into Canada’s health-care system. During a press conference at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada on Thursday, Health Minister Mark Holland said it would cut the process down from six to 24 months to as little as three months.
