A rally to save the Ontario Science Centre was held on Saturday at Riverdale Park. A number of politicians joined several dozen people to try to stop Ontario Premier Doug Ford from moving the beloved institution down to Ontario Place at the West Toronto waterfront. And, after recent indications that rises in Canada’s interest rates may have peaked, some real estate experts are expecting that there may be hope on the horizon for prospective home buyers. Plus, flooding and wildfires are among the greatest weather-related threats facing Canadian homeowners and renters. For most, however, they are still considered rare and unlikely events. That thinking has to change, according to experts, as the impacts of climate change become more obvious.
