Pope Francis on prayed on Sunday for the victims of wildfires in Chile. Forest fires raging in central Chile have killed at least 46 people and the death toll is likely to keep climbing, authorities said on Saturday, as emergency services battled to snuff out flames threatening urban areas. After the weekly Angelus prayer, the leader of the world’s more than 1.35 billion Roman Catholics also sent his greetings to millions of families who will celebrate the Lunar New Year on Feb. 10.
