On Thursday, Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced a new deal with the City of Ottawa that will provide the city with “$546 million in a 10-year deal to help its economic recovery and revitalization,” he said. The deal includes the province taking over ownership of Highway 174 and supporting the repairs of major connecting roads, as well as opening a new police station downtown.
