In response to Ontario school boards suing social media giants for disrupting student learning, Ontario Premier Doug Ford urged in Ottawa on Thursday to “Let’s focus on the core values of education. Let’s focus on the reading and writing. That’s what we need to do.” Ford added that “I don’t know what are they spending on lawyer fees to go after these massive companies that have endless cash to fight this. So let’s focus on the kids, not about this other nonsense that they’re looking to fight in court.”
