Durham officers find woman dead at Ajax home, man taken into custody: police

A woman, 45, was found dead at an Ajax home late Saturday and a man, 35, has been taken into custody, police said on Sunday. Durham Regional Police Acting Duty Inspector Rob Williamson said that the victim and suspect were known to each other, and that investigation was ongoing. He said no other suspects were being sought and there was no threat to public safety.
