It has been 25 years since a deadly war in Kosovo led to the evacuation and temporary resettlement of what initially was 5,000 refugees – which saw some fleeing families find safety in Canada. Global’s Vanessa Wright spoke with two refugees who reflected on the moment when everything changed.
