A motorcyclist was airlifted to a Toronto hospital following a collision with a car in downtown Peterborough on Saturday morning. The collision occurred around 9:15 a.m. at the intersection of George and Sherbrooke streets. The roadway was closed for five hours.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
