Footage was captured Sunday of fires that continue to ravage the Pantanal – the world’s largest tropical wetland in central-western Brazil. The blazes that have ravaged the diverse ecosystem since January, come as of weak rains, which have disrupted the usual seasonal flooding and left more of the region vulnerable to fires.
