Speaking in Ottawa on Wednesday, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg pushed Canada to meet the target agreed on by members of the military alliance to spend two per cent of its GDP on defence spending. He said he knows its not easy for politicians to invest in defence but said greater spending is needed 鈥渨hen tensions are high as they are today.鈥
