A group of local Black women are helping inspire the next generation through a program called “Empowered Black Girl.” Community Reporter Safeeya Pirani attends their 4th annual conference in Vancouver to see what it means for young girls to connect with leaders, participate in activities, and celebrate their identity in a safe space.
