Speaking on behalf of Secretary-General Ant贸nio Guterres on Monday, United Nations (UN) spokesperson Stephane Dujarric demanded the 鈥渋mmediate and unconditional release鈥 of UN personnel that have been detained by Houthi rebels in Yemen. In June, Dujarric revealed that Houthis had captured 11 employees 鈥 nine men and two women, working between five different UN agencies.
