One man is dead and two other people were taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision on County Road 28 in Hamilton Township on Sunday night.
Northumberland OPP say a northbound vehicle collided with a southbound vehicle around 9:20 p.m.
The driver of one vehicle – a 54-year-old man from Curve Lake First Nation – was pronounced dead at the scene just south of Ganaraska Road.
His name was not released.
The other driver and a passenger were first taken to a local hospital. The driver was later airlifted to a Toronto hospital with serious injuries. The passenger sustained non-life threatening injuries.
On Monday morning, OPP said they continue to investigate the collision and are appealing to any witnesses to come forward.
