A teenager has died following a collision with a vehicle in the west end of Peterborough early Saturday. Peterborough police say around 3 a.m. officers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a delivery truck along the North Monaghan Parkway. Police say the driver remained on scene and provided first-aid to the victim until paramedics arrived. A 17-year-old boy from Cavan-Monaghan Township was transported to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre where he died of his injuries. On Sunday, a roadside memorial was setup near the crash scene. A cross at the memorial has the name “Landon Kellar.” On Monday, police say the collision remains under investigation.
