Black bear in tree has rough landing after being tranquilized at Halifax-area park

Wildlife officials tranquilized and removed a bear from a tree in Dartmouth Commons 鈥� a popular park in the Halifax area 鈥� on Thursday afternoon. The animal had a bit of a rough landing on the air cushion. However, Department of Natural Resources officials checked the animal over and was able to safely remove it from the area.
