Wildlife officials tranquilized and removed a bear from a tree in Dartmouth Commons – a popular park in the Halifax area – on Thursday afternoon. The animal had a bit of a rough landing on the air cushion. However, Department of Natural Resources officials checked the animal over and was able to safely remove it from the area.
