Speaking to reporters in Ottawa on Friday, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Capital Commission, Tobi Nussbaum, outlined the “key issues” that needed to be addressed to get their approval for a downtown Ottawa arena for the NHL’s Senators. The Senators and the National Capital Commission announced an agreement at a joint press conference Friday that would see the Senators purchase a 10-acre plot at the downtown LeBreton Flats site for the development of a multi-purpose facility, including an NHL arena.
