At least 22 people in central Beirut were killed on Thursday evening following an Israeli airstrike, amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah. The air raid on Lebanon鈥檚 capital 鈥 the deadliest in over a year of war 鈥 reportedly targeted two residential buildings in separate neighborhoods simultaneously. Several of the more than 100 injured victims spoke to reporters on Friday describing the 鈥渉orrifying鈥 strikes.
