A Peterborough woman was charged with arson following a fire at a residential unit on Stewart Street on Friday night.
Just before 9 p.m. firefighters responded to multiple 911 calls about a structure fire and say all occupants got out safely.
Firefighters found a fully involved fire but quickly got it under control.
Damages to the building is estimated at $200.000.
Police say their investigation determined a tenant deliberately set the fire.
A 55-year-old woman was arrested and charged with arson, disregard for human life.
Police and the Ontario Fire Marshal continue to investigate.
