Ontario Premier Doug Ford said in Sudbury, Ont., on Monday that the extension of a 5.7-cent cut to the provincial gas tax was an effort to make life more affordable. “Everyone up here drives — think of that every time you pump your gas,” Ford said. “People are finding it tough right now out there.”
