Patrick Ryder held a press briefing on Tuesday, during which he outlined the U.S. Department of Defense’s latest estimates on North Korean troops operating in Russia. “We believe that the DPRK has sent approximately 10,000 soldiers in total to train in eastern Russia,” Ryder said. “And that these troops will probably augment Russian forces near Ukraine over the next several weeks.”
