A Dartmouth, N.S., woman is speaking out after she was the victim of a hit and run earlier in the week. She says police haven’t given her any updates, and it’s unlikely the driver will face any consequences for his actions. And, from a chicken-holding burlesque dancer to a Chihuahua fanatic, pet fans in Fredericton, N.B., returned for the local SPCA’s annual Pet Pawlooza fundraiser to show the support. The celebrations come one year after the animal organization announced it was at risk of closure.
