Canada needs to be ‘tougher’ in Arctic security response: Joly

Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Joly announced in Ottawa on Friday that Canada has unveiled a new Arctic foreign policy, as global tensions continue to increase between China, Russia and western nations. “The Arctic is no longer a low-tension region. We live in a tough world and we need to be tougher in our response,” Joly said.
