Speaking in Toronto on Thursday, Ontario Premier Doug Ford clarified comments that he would “turn off the lights” to 1.5 million Americans if president-elect Donald Trump imposed the 25 per cent tariffs on all Canadian imports he has been threatening for weeks. Ford called his retaliatory threat a “last resort” if Trump doesn’t back down.
