Nissan, Honda agree to merge by 2026 amid threat from Chinese-made EVs

In a historic bombshell in the automotive industry, Japanese automakers Nissan and Honda have agreed to merge their companies by 2026. Smaller manufacturer Mitsubishi Motors, in which Nissan is a top shareholder, is potentially joining as well.
