A West Island home recognized as a Quebec cultural heritage site was destroyed by a fire over the weekend. The house in Kirkland was built for Charles Daudelin, a major figure in Canadian modern art whose works are on display in Montreal, Paris and more. As Global’s Dan Spector reports, many are mourning the loss and wondering what happened.
