It’s an annual tradition for many: setting goals and making plans, whether it’s detoxing after the holidays or for ambitions over the next 12 months. Experts think, however, that this habit of making promises to one’s self goes a bit deeper than setting personal targets, and it can be a healthy thing to do. Global’s Phil Carpenter reports.
