Russia has responded to President-elect Donald Trump after he expressed a desire Tuesday for the U.S. to acquire the Danish territory of Greenland in his upcoming second term. Trump鈥檚 remarks have been shut down by Greenland itself and criticized by world leaders all across Europe. Speaking Thursday, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, 鈥渋t鈥檚 scary to react to Trump’s words, so Europe is reacting very cautiously, modestly, quietly, almost in a whisper.鈥
