A popular winter pastime in Peterborough is facing challenges this year. The Trent-Severn Waterway canal under the historic Peterborough Lift Lock is not being maintained for ice skating this year. It's a cost-cutting measure as the city deliberates its 2025 budget. But as Marc Woodhouse tells us, some local residents are stepping up to try to save the seasonal tradition.
