Nicole Brickell and her family was excited to welcome a new furry friend into their lives, but that excited quicky turned to heartbreak when the puppy’s health declined. The family from Bradford, Ont. adopted the puppy from the Orillia SPCA. They spent thousands on vet bills and took out a loan to pay for a procedure before the dog had to be put down from critical illness 38 days after they adopted her. Now they are looking for answers.
