British Columbia Premier David Eby said he believes president-elect Donald Trump’s tariff threat amounts to a “declaration of economic war,” at a press conference Thursday. Eby said he and his provincial counterparts are taking the threat “deadly seriously” and B.C. will do whatever it takes to stop the economic threat and remind the United States of its important relationship with Canada.
