Three people were injured and a family pet died following a three-vehicle crash on County Road 28 near Bewdley on Thursday morning.
Emergency crews responded around 9:40 a.m. to the roadway just north of County Road 9.
Northumberland OPP say two vehicles found on the highway had significant damage while a third vehicle was found in a ditch. Paramedics treated each driver at the scene and then transported them to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The roadway was closed between County Road 9 and Boundary Road until around noontime.
There was a winter travel advisory at the time with heavy snowfall in the area.
