Focus BC: Trump tariff threat impact on everyday Canadians

Donald Trump will be sworn in as U.S. president next week, and it’s expected one of the first things he plans to do is put 25 per cent tariffs on all goods moving from Canada and Mexico.  In the Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, edition of Focus BC, host Richard Zussman interviews Finance Minister Brenda Bailey and economist Kurt Niquidet from the BC Council of Forest Industries on the impact these tariffs will have on everyday British Columbians.
