There is a firestorm of reaction to the tariffs U.S. President Donald Trump has imposed on Canadian exports. Canadian industries are blasting America’s decision to punish its closest ally and trading partner. And economists on both sides of the border are warning the tariffs will only backfire. Quebec says a move to take American products off the shelves of all SAQ stores is only the beginning of its response to these tariffs. People across the province are furious about Trump’s decision.
