There is a firestorm of reaction to the tariffs U.S. President Donald Trump has imposed on Canadian exports. Canadian industries are blasting America’s decision to punish its closest ally and trading partner. And economists on both sides of the border are warning the tariffs will only backfire. In response, Ontario will pull all U.S. alcohol from LCBO shelves starting Tuesday. The move will remove everything from Kentucky bourbon to Napa Valley wine, and it aims to boost Canadian products amid the incoming tariffs.
