In a ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ exclusive, Canada hears for the first time from a veteran who was detained by the Taliban. “Canadian Dave,” as he’s become known, is considered a hero for helping to free more than a hundred Afghans during the fall of Kabul in 2021. It was upon return to Afghanistan last November – to help others escape – that he was captured. Here, our Jeff Semple speaks with the now-free man.
