The housing crisis isn’t new, but Wednesday morning at Peterborough City Hall, it was announced that the federal government is putting fresh money on the table to help fix it.
More than $10 million is being invested in housing construction in Peterborough. The government says it’s part of a national plan to cut red tape and build homes faster. Marc Woodhouse has more.
