Private surgery clinic contracts paused amid health-care corruption allegations

Two proposed surgery clinics in Red Deer and Lethbridge are now on pause as both are identified in $1.7 million wrongful dismissal lawsuit by the fired CEO of Alberta Health Services. Meanwhile Premier Danielle Smith said she is pressing on with her plan to find an outside firm capable of investigating the allegations. Morgan Black reports.
