Speaking in Jerusalem on Tuesday, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar vowed Israel would begin negotiations on the anticipated second phase of its ceasefire in Gaza – more than two weeks after the discussion was supposed to occur. When at the bargaining table, Saar said Israel will demand “complete demilitarization of Gaza,” meaning no further “presence of Hamas or any other terrorist groups.”
