7,000 deaths since January as M23 rebels escalate conflict in Congo, PM says

As Rwanda-backed M23 rebels make rapid territorial advancements in their decade-spanning conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), approximately 7,000 people have died since January alone, according to Prime Minister Judith Suminwa Tuluka.
