In it鈥檚 biggest sustained increase since the end of the Cold War, the United Kingdom is set to increase its defence spending amount to 2.5 per cent of GDP by 2027, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced Tuesday in the House of Commons. 鈥淟et me spell that out. That means spending 拢13.4 billion more on defence every year from 2027,鈥� the Labour Party member told the house speaker.
