Dozens of people crowded into the Knox United Church in Lower Sackville on Saturday afternoon to check some items off their grocery list at a deeply affordable price. A pop-up food market was organized by the Cobequid Food Security Network – and as Mitchell Bailey reports, advocates say events like these are necessary to combat food insecurity in the Halifax area.
