Since January, rebel groups, backed by Rwanda, have taken control of several areas of the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo, displacing around half a million people. Thousands have reportedly been killed. As Redmond Shannon reports, it’s the latest flare-up in decades of unrest in the country.
