A wildfire spread on Monday in northeastern Japan, prompting the local government to expand evacuation orders for nearly 4,600 people. The wildfire broke out on Feb. 26, but the local police and the fire department have been struggling to contain it since then. So far one person has been reported dead, according to the local authority.
