B.C. premier says Trump can ‘keep his watery beer,’ removes all US liquor from store shelves

British Columbian Premier David Eby announced Monday the province is removing all U.S. liquor products from store shelves, after last week’s removal of booze from Republican-controlled states. Eby says the province decided to expand the ban after President Donald Trump added additional tariffs on the dairy industry, an investigation into Canada’s lumber industry, and reportedly told Prime Minister Justin Trudeau he does not think the 1908 border treaty between the two countries is valid and he wants to redraw the line.
