Unifor national president Lana Payne said in an interview with ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ that U.S. President Donald Trump’s shifting announcements on tariffs on Canada are “dangerous” to the Canadian economy, because it’s forcing business investment to be put “on hold.” She said with uncertainty from the tariffs, businesses cannot make the day-to-day decisions on whether to invest in a new product or expand because they cannot be sure what will come next from the “chaos.”
