In his first press conference after taking the oath as the prime minister on Friday, Mark Carney said that he had placed his assets into a blind trust 鈥 a move prompted by months of questions by the Conservatives about potential conflicts of interest. Taking a dig at Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre, Carney joked that 鈥渆mployment in the private sector is something that the leader of the opposition has never experienced.鈥
