Canadian federal election call expected amid division with U.S.

Tomorrow morning Prime Minister Mark Carney will visit the governor general and ask her to dissolve parliament, triggering a spring election, with the vote on April 28th. As Travis Prasad reports, while Donald Trump isn’t on the ballot, his threats against Canada’s economy and sovereignty are expected to dominate the campaign, and have already shaken up the race.
