Groups representing people with autism spectrum disorder say the government needs to create more assisted living facilities. A petition to that effect was recently tabled at the national assembly asking for more help. Amanda Jelowicki spoke with one family who take care of their adult son who has autism and an intellectual disability. They say there isn’t enough subsidized housing out there, and more needs to be done.
