Martin Heinrich questioned Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard during a Senate hearing Tuesday about why Canada was not mentioned in an annual threat assessment report that spoke about the major threat fentanyl poses. Heinrich questioned Canada’s omission despite President Donald Trump’s frequent assertions that “massive” amounts of fentanyl were coming into the U.S. from the northern border.
